Why Community Comes First
We believe a business is a trustee of the community it lives in. People come before profit, and profit is how we keep serving.
Since our journey began in 2012, this belief has shaped every venture we build. As we open a local Svayam website, team and company in each country where we hold a domain, we plan to give back locally, in ways that local people choose and can see.
Our Four Focus Areas
Our community work is guided by four areas, in every country we serve.
In each country, we aim to:
- Education: open doors to skills, internships and learning that lead to real work
- Health and environment: encourage natural, plant-based living and run our businesses with less waste
- Empowerment: help local people and young founders build livelihoods and ventures of their own
